About Nelson Pool Company

Nelson Pool Company is proudly operated by Anthony and Jayme Wilson, a local Sarasota-area family with deep roots in the swimming pool industry.

Our story started the same place our work still happens today — in backyards, around pools, and face-to-face with homeowners. Before stepping into the Nelson Pool Company name, Anthony began by purchasing a pool cleaning route of roughly 100 pools and growing it to more than 170 pools. That hands-on experience became the foundation for everything that followed.

Working on pools every day taught us what really matters beneath the surface. We learned how important proper pool chemistry is — not only for clean water, but for protecting finishes, tile, equipment, plumbing, and the long-term health of the pool. We also became deeply familiar with equipment, circulation systems, automation, heaters, salt systems, leaks, and the common problems homeowners face over time.

When the opportunity came to purchase Nelson Pool Company, we saw the chance to build on an established local name while bringing new energy, stronger systems, better communication, and a higher level of craftsmanship to the company.

Anthony’s commitment to business growth and leadership was recognized through his inclusion in Sarasota’s Top 40 Under 40, a reflection of the forward-thinking approach he brings to Nelson Pool Company.

From new pool construction and complete renovations to resurfacing, repairs, leak detection, equipment upgrades, and commercial projects, our team understands that every pool is more than a project — it is part of someone’s home, lifestyle, investment, and family memories.
